Grandparents Day

We are taught many things from our grandparents. Especially words of wisdom that are passed down from generation to generation.

“Be yourself.”

“Do your best.”

“Say please and thank you.”

“Treat everyone with respect.”

“Stand up for what you believe in.”

“Keep your word.”

“Treat others the way you’d like to be treated.”

“If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.”

Wisdom has come to us in many ways: through the daily struggles of marriage, child rearing, earning a living, caring for the ones we love and sometimes the ones we

don’t, managing and mismanaging our money, and having the courage to make the decisions that took us down one path or another. All of this has led us to the hard-won knowledge that just might be the best of what we have to leave to our young people.

Grandparents make a huge impact on our lives. They don’t only give us their words of wisdom, but they give us a special kind of love that is build in a life time of caring and giving, so for this Grandparents day come visit with us at Big Al’s for Ice Cream Sundae’s at 2pm to show  our appreciation for our Grandparents here at Arlington court.
